When he initially named it Sasquatch Soap, Haldrup received a cease and desist letter from a third party in trademarking that name. Despite needing to rebrand his soap delivery company, Haldrup persevered, and now, tons of guys rely on Dr. Squatch’s soap. So the big question: how has he been so successful?

The secret is targeting a new niche. Hygiene and beauty companies have been targeting feminine demographics for decades, but the hypermasculine market needs soap, too, and Dr. Squatch filled that market well.
