Five years ago, I interviewed Kim Dolva on my podcast and his story was fascinating. His first degree was in graphic art and his second in cabinetry. Between all of that, his training as a guitar maker, and knowing he wouldn’t be a pencil pusher, you know something cool was going to happen. But Denmark was in for a real surprise with his unique take on interior design and furniture making. 

Now, restaurants and other companies are clamoring for his hand-made designs. Kim is inspired to make timeless pieces, sleek and contemporary. He partners with a saw mill in Copenhagen, his stomping grounds, and ensures that his materials are locally-sourced for the highest quality. Not to mention, he’s hands on enough to be sure that all of the lumber is responsibly harvested.
